Redditch Refurbishment

Redditch is one of the countries ‘New Towns’ established in the 1960’s with continuous development through the 70’s and 80’s. New Town communities were built around dominant modern shopping facilities allowing the existing and relocated residential communities to connect. This core requirement is as necessary today as it was then.

The sensitive refurbishment of Kingfisher Shopping Centre has added a new social element with the introduction of casual dining Restaurants Prezzo, Nandos, Real China and Tinseltown alongside a rejuvenated Cinema recently acquired by VUE. The reconfiguration of the Centres Worcester Square and Evesham Walk mall, the heart of the retail core, has delivered a vibrant and dynamic space reflective of the community’s needs and supporting the top retail brands Jack Jones, H&M, tReds, New Look, River Island and Swarovski with food outlets Eds Diner and Fuel Juice Bar integrated between.

A vibrant and dynamic space reflective of the community’s needs

Shopping made easy

A new customer service facility incorporates the growing Collect+ service which is an essential element of what today’s community customer is looking for. Listening and engaging with our existing and target shoppers through research has allowed the investment in Kingfisher Shopping centre to be targeted at the emerging sectors of ‘eating –out’ and ‘Click and Collect’ facilities whilst also mitigating external retail development with targeted introduction and expansion of valued retail brands.
