Capital & Regional has announced a raft of leasing deals at the 900,000-sq ft Mall Luton, led by a new commitment from anchor retailer JD Sports. JD Sports has signed a new 10-year lease to occupy a 9,000-sq ft unit in the main Waller Street Mall, upsizing from 4,500 sq ft.

This coincides with similar commitments from Schuh and Holland & Barrett, which have both upsized to new units of 3,400 sq ft and 3,600 sq ft respectively, both on new 10-year leases.

At the same time Capital & Regional is continuing to expand the catering offer at the Mall Luton, completing deals with Shakeaway and Indian Street food concept Abi’s, with both operators signing 10-year leases. Alongside this, the landlord has introduced Burrito Kitchen, Kono Pizza, Jamma Nana’s and Krispy Kreme in bespoke catering kiosks situated around Cheapside Mall.
